She enjoys working with students to explore options for experiences abroad and finding a best fit for their goals. Stephanie earned her master's degree in International Development from DU's Josef Korbel School of International Education. Her undergraduate degree is in International Studies and Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies from the University of Evansville, where she also took 2.5 years of Russian. As an undergrad, she studied abroad in the UK and Chile, and spent three months as a graduate student in Nicaragua. Before coming to work at DU, she spent several years working in international development with a focus on access to education. She was born in Brazil and her mother is Bolivian, and so spent a significant amount of time in both countries growing up.
